I took a closer look, I used, tape to make the fitting tighter onto the carburetor but the leak continue. I pulled the gas inlet off the carburetor and inspected the fitting.and compared it to my other carb and itwas the wrong fitting.. Installed on my boat a few days ago and works great, needed very minimal adjustment to optimize to the engine. Item was packaged well and no damage at all when delivered. This carb was rebuilt by the seller extremely well. Many thanks as this is a very rare part these days.
