The main block is very heavy and stable and the thread on the adjustment spindle gives great control over the movement of the slide. I previously turned morse tapers by hand, needless to say a bit hit and miss. The very first M2 I turned using this device was perfect with both ends exactly the size they should be and the taper at the exact correct angle. I have no hesitation in recommending this device to anyone wanting to turning tapers.

The items held up well despite the package being somewhat battered. Tracking wasn’t overly helpful (came via courier service) and updates were sparse. However, it arrived quicker than USPS has been lately, so that’s a plus! A+
