After installing driver on laptop it Works well inside upstairs downstairs but it wouldn't even pick up 100ft outside away from router where I needed it. If wanting to use short didtances inside this is a good product for you. If like me you need it to reach outside about 100ft clear open space save your money it won't work.

Just make sure you put it in the USB port while your computer is up and running. It will automatically install the drives then but it will need your prompts.
