Put on a glass water to check its water solubility; almost none of the powder went down through the water, meaning that despite not being complexed to be water soluble, it might still be legit ecdysterone (since this is a fat soluble compound on its raw state). Make sure you are taking it together with pepper powder, and some oil (like olive oil) in order to enhance absorption and bioavailability.
