This leather is thick it looks very durable, and these boots are built to last. My biggest complaint is the amount of money i wasted on the cheap costume boots before finding these. The material used, the quality of the workmanship, the level of packaging. If you're looking for good quality custom fit chainmail, this is the one I'd recommend
