Directed by the popular and experienced Marcus Nispel, and produced by veteran filmmaker Michael Bay, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre begins like the original version. On their way to Dallas for a concert, five friends - Erin (Jessica Biel), Kemper (Eric Balfour), Morgan (Jonathan Tucker), Pepper (Erica Leerhsen), and Andy (Mike Vogel) - pick up a hitchhiker. This goodwill act results in unimaginable terror for the group. After the distressed hitchhiker shoots herself, they try to contact the local sheriff (R. Lee Ermey) and this is when they encounter the murderous chainsaw-wielding lunatic, Leatherface. This blood-curdling movie features gruesome murder scenes, unrelenting suspense, and intense drama.
