The story of the remarkable 1968 baseball season: an epic battle of pitchers, Bob Gibson and Denny McClain, culminating in one of the greatest World Series of all time, "Both a pleasure and a revelation."--Daniel Okrent, author of Nine Innings In 1968, two astounding pitchers would dominate the game as never before.
