It made me suspect the seller was trying to get me to raise my bid even though I had no competition. I added a maximum bid. I ended up paying the original price, but it took an extra 10 days to receive. I still have no idea why the initial bid didn't secure the purchase, but I have received the goods at the original listed price. I still feel like I got "jerked around"
