It's leaps and bounds better than the one I was using. Battery life is truly phenomenal and charging time is decent as well. This unit accommodates any style of strap. The former stand required the controllers to be charged daily, I charged these initially and they are still at 100%... 10 days later with daily use! I'm flabbergasted by this because it makes no sense... defies the laws of physics even!
