Based on the architecture and operating system of the iPhone, the system has high performance and reliability. The iPod Touch 2nd Generation is designed to operate as a miniature tablet. It is capable of playing games and video in addition to music. The iPod Touch has proven to be easy to use and capable of providing performance and style. This particular model is the MB533ll/A. The sleek black exterior provides a touch of elegance to the product. The Apple iPod Touch 2nd Generation is built around the iPhone OS 2.1.1. However, it can update to iOS 4.2.1, the same as the 2nd Generation iPad if you prefer. This enables it to run many of the apps available on the Apple Store. It can also accept Apple Gift Cards to pay for such items. It is compatible with iTunes, which is built directly into the iPod. This enables the user to compare prices across potential purchases without needing to turn to a computer for iTunes. The manual is also included on the device itself. Since it is so similar to other Apple devices, it uses similar commands. These include a multi-touch input system, voice-activated Siri search, and an onboard screen to type in commands. The iPod can access the Internet via an 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi connection. A built-in speaker and microphone are provided. A multi-function headphone jack and Bluetooth connectivity are included as well.
