The switch is constructed physically like the original switch from my 1974 Beetle, and the pics in description match the switch. It operates/works as it is designed to operate/work. Other switches available that look similar but have some differences in the little tabs placed on switch. In my opinion it would be best to match your bad switch to the pics on any of these switches to make sure it will fit into the lock cylinder.
