It just peels off, but I left the one on the bottom to protect it from scratches. Fast shipping, great service. I intend to buy some of the other sizes eventually. Thank you.

The packaging was well done though the specimen seems to have become separated from the base it was mounted to during shipping, no worries though, I fixed it up. As for the specimen itself, it's exactly as described! The over all value was fantastic as well.
