I did have concerns with the quality of the threads on this adapter as I found it very hard to thread into the threaded hole which is a spark plug hole on an aluminum cylinder head. I tried the item on several other heads and the fit was the same. I made the decision to force fit the item and have had no issues so far. I contacted the seller with my concerns and promptly received a response that they are only a distributor and do not manufacture the item.
