The Celestron NexStar 4SE 13 Maksotov-Cassegrain telescope can bring stars in the sky into focus for both novice and experienced stargazers. You can appreciate the many user-friendly accessories and features of this telescope, including a GoTo mount, which can easily find and track more than 40,000 celestial objects for your viewing. The computerized Altazimuth mount automates the process for you to ensure stargazing success right out of the box. The user-friendly design of the Celestron NexStar telescope can give you the power you need to enjoy an expansive view of space, whether in your own backyard or out in the field. The telescope is fully assembled, and it attaches easily to the tripod so it’s ready to use immediately. Power the telescope with eight AA batteries, or plug it in with the AC adapter. The portability of the telescope enables you to break it down into separate lightweight pieces to take it along to a mobile observation site. Setting it back up again can be a simple task as well. Built-in features of the Celestron NexStar scope can ensure stargazing success. The telescope has 4-degree per second slew speed with fully enclosed motors and a focal length of 1300mm. Optical encoders can enable position location for precise alignment, which can be ideal for amateur astronomers. You can learn about astronomy with these telescopes because Celestron NexStar has built in a Sky Tour feature that takes you on a virtual tour of the sky. Thanks to the Star Pointer Finderscope, the telescope can easily locate the most interesting celestial objects in the sky as you look through the eyepiece, and it can slew to each one automatically to show them to you with brilliant magnification. If you’re experienced with stargazing, you can utilize the telescope’s comprehensive database that includes almost 40,000 objects to locate the items you want to view. The database even includes customized lists of the best objects, including variable stars and double stars. Viewing conditions can determine how much you can see with telescopes. Celestron recommends that new users spend time familiarizing themselves with the telescope by reading through the manual. Then, when you are ready to look to the sky, the NexStar software can walk you through the entire process. The integrated hand controller can give you easy optics control of the telescope, and it’s built right into the side of the fork arm. The removable hand controller can even guide you through the process of aligning the telescope with on-screen instructions for each step thanks to the SkyAlign technology. As you use the NexStar telescope, you can store objects in the internal memory of the unit for future access. The Celestron NexStar scope can rise above other comparable telescopes due to options such as the flip mirror that provides straight-through or 90-degree viewing and the available mount for connecting a camera to the telescope. The Camera Wizard can guide you through piggybacking a camera to the telescope. Celestron can also offer optional accessories, which you can use with these telescopes. You can choose from items such as additional eyepieces, which can increase field of view and lens aperture. With the Celestron NexStar 4SE telescope, the galaxy can be yours to explore.
