The battery however is loose inside the guitar body held only by the wires. This makes a rattle at louder volumes. Otherwise very satisfied.

Spruce top, rosewood back & sides and mahogany neck all appear to be real. Fretboard may be a synthetic/laminate but it’s fine and I believe the abalone inlays are real. Dark binding on the neck, maybe rosewood? The adhesive wire retainer had come loose during shipping. I spent maybe half an hour: filed the fret ends a bit, adjusted truss rod and polished frets. Action is 1.25mm at 12th on Es with no buzzing. Love it!

They were very helpful in aiding why that was happening, turns out the guy who set it up put some bad strings on. Once I changed them, no more buzzing. Guitar was exactly as described and was well put together. Had to make a few mods to it, such as locking nut, tuners, bigger POTS and a humbucker pickup. (Gotta make it your own 🤷). Overall great guitar for the price.
