I ran the unit up and down with a battery. It ran slow. I messaged the seller. No response. I installed the unit in the boat and the trim motor went up 1 time and on the way down, the trim motor completely quit. I had to put a new trim motor on the unit. After new trim motor and another install, I now have a trim unit that leaks down. Also, he did not message me until July 7th which was 3 weeks after documented delivery and AFTER he'd attempted costly repairs I did not authorize. This is all documented per eBay comm and UPS tracking and eBay has been notified. I have a return policy for a reason and he could have returned the item before attempting any costly, unauthorized repairs.
