Lucky for us the package did not evidently experience any rough handling, and all is well.

When I communicated the issue with the seller he offered a replacement. Then he checked the nventory at the warehouse and realized that they had none in stock so he issued a refund. All in all although I was disappointed that the water bottle was unusable the seller was quick to make things right.
