The Sirius Starmate ST2 Satellite Radio Receiver user’s guide provides helpful diagrams, information, and tips for installing your device when it arrives. The content within the user’s guide will help you in situations with troublesome mounting. This guide is also helpful for learning the many features and functions that the radio receiver has to offer. To get the most out of this portable device familiarize yourself with the buttons and capabilities that it offers. The included remote control allows for easy navigation between channels and functions. The antenna increases the frequency signal that is captured by the receiver for better connectivity. A wide-screen graphic display is featured on each of the Sirius Starmate ST2 Satellite receivers. This display screen offers up to 4-lines of text read-out including artist names, song titles, and the channel name. The larger fonts make it easier to view and read while driving. The back-lit display offers reading in all types of lighting, including daytime viewing. The Sirius Seek feature allows you to store up to 30 artists’ names and/or song title combinations. When these names or songs are streaming through one of the Sirius stations, this feature will send you an alert. Create 30 channel presets with the scan feature. This allows you to locate these channels easily when pressing the scan button. You still have the ability to access other channels with the channel up and down buttons. A built-in Jump Button is designed into the portable Sirius Starmate ST2 receivers. This button allows you the capability of presetting the Smart button on the Sirius satellite radio receiver to deliver traffic and weather alerts in your area. You can also use the Jump Button to tune into your favorite Sirius radio channel with a single touch. A built-in 100 frequency wireless FM transmitter is designed into the Sirius receiver. This FM transmitter works with most vehicle FM radios. Use the device’s menu to turn this function on and off as you desire. Store up to five FM frequencies for quick access while driving. Designate a specific button on the Sirius satellite radio receiver to coincide with your desired settings. This capability creates a safer driving experience filled with fine music, sports, news, and talk listening. A 4-way navigation button is found on the Sirius Starmate ST2 satellite radio receiver. This navigation button simplifies the process of locating your favorite channels, scrolling through the Sirius satellite radio device’s menu selections, creating settings for your favorite channels and alerts, and for connecting with compatible electronic devices.
