When I opened the records a lot of paper bits from the inner sleeve were on the record and some had of the paper had rubbed into the groves of the record. I had to use a carbon fibre brush and chemical cleaner to get the record clean. The good news is after about 20 minutes of clearing the record played well and sounded great. Disappointing to have do all this to a new record.
