However, upon receiving the parcel, I immediately took the stone to a reputable jeweler for authentication. To my dismay, it turned out to be glass, cleverly manipulated to mimic an emerald. The seller had even gone to the extent of creating an artificial crack to deceive unsuspecting buyers into believing it was genuine. This experience highlights the importance of verifying gemstone
