If you have other devices to add to this network, these receivers also have Digital Living Network Alliance, or DLNA, embedded into the densely-packed electronics.Each of the seven channels supports up to 100 watts of power as you turn up the THX Select2 sound. You don't have to be an audio-video genius to set up the speakers with the Onkyo unit because it comes with Audyssey 2EQ technology. This feature calibrates the speaker inputs to the receiver so that the resulting tunes are perfectly harmonious regardless of the musical genre.As a bonus, this unit can even provide support for 3D video. It accepts input from a Blu-ray device. The setup also has Marvell Qdeo video processing that utilizes analog-to-HDMI up-conversion for your incoming images. Thus, you'll have up to 1080p resolution on your television when you connect it through the TX-NR609 unit.With its twin subwoofer pre-outs, you will add extra rumble to your audio quality as it boosts the impact of the bass.
