Fairly sharp, well wrapped and a bit smaller and lighter than I expected. The pommel especially. Snug in the guard the blade is a bit lighter than the pictured one but still beautiful. All tight. Tiny gap. No sign of a peen. (?!?!) The scabbard is junk of course. I may have to search for a good one. All in all not bad.

I've tested it on hard wood and it retained its edge and nothing has come loose, its solidly built and came nice and sharp. Definitely high carbon steel as it formed light rust quickly after my testing, so keep it oiled and it will be perfect for many years. Fast shipping and packed well. Only negative would be minor irregularities but its expected when made by a person one at a time. Super happy with the purchase.
