The neck that comes with the Better Sax tenor is too loose, and the 27.5 neck fits so much better (a tad bit tight but not bad with a little sanding). The neck itself is free-blowing and absolutely worth the money. The octave mechanism was very straight, and the neck was in perfect condition! The lacquer is very similar to my tenor's color as well. Very good overall.
