    The black Sony camera body is a compact interchangeable lens camera that captures high-quality content even when it is half the size of a typical digital SLR camera. The APS-C image sensor integrated in the Sony Nex-C3 allows for capturing beautiful images with the resolution of 16.2 MP and provides great quality even in low-light situations. With seven picture effects, such as retro photo, posterization, and high-contrast monochrome, and eight scene-selection modes from hand-held night shots to portraits, the 16.2 MP digital SLR camera body offers the freedom to experiment. The focus on the Sony camera body can be adjusted either automatically or manually. In the latter case, the Peaking function highlights the areas that are focused helping to create a perfect macro or portrait. The 3-inch (7.6-cm) LCD screen of the Sony Nex-C3 is tiltable, allowing the capturing of objects at an angle. Thanks to the Live View, users see the white balance, depth of field, focus, and exposure settings for the shots they are about to capture. The 16.2 MP digital SLR camera body records images as compact JPEG files as well as high-quality RAW images. Lenses compatible with the Sony camera body belong to the Sony E-mount type.
