Scramble up Crook Hill and see the breathtaking view from the twin gritstone peaks; see the boulders at Dovestone Reservoir, said to be the result of two giants fighting; look for wildlife and flowers along the disused Hayfield railway line, now the Sett Valley Trail and the Longdendale Trail; and visit the monument of the Duke of Wellington, hero of Waterloo and inventor of the famous Wellington boot. STOPS - Each walk features places for refreshment: from picnic sites to cafes and family-friendly pubs.
