The batteries stay fairly cool during charging, and there is no sign of their being overly charged, so battery life is near to the maximum expected. Worthy of note is, in extremely cold weather/water, batteries don't possess their maximum capacity. This is down to physics, not the battery or the charger. All batteries are affected this way.
