But i would venture to guess they are not waterproof there is no protection over or inside the the zipper and the zipper has very large teeth, compared to all my other waterproof equipment i have this doesn't fit the waterproof model at all. This wasn't a purchase point for me though as it will be going in a dry bag anyway. the color size and quality are great but not waterproof.
