I don't know if something happened to it in shipment even though it seemed to be well packed in box. Good communication from seller, he sent a partial refund. I looked into trying to get someone to repair it but would not be cost effective since most similar typewriters would be cheaper to buy then to repair this one. The typer writer was fully tested. I generally include a video of electronics working, while there was no video in this listing there was a picture of every keystroke as it was typed. I am sorry it was damaged drugging shipping and thank you for mentioning my packing. I always pack items securely. Unfortunately, I cannot control USPS.
