When I saw this book floating around on the internet, I knew he would love it, and I was absolutely right! This pose in the picture lasted for probably an hour after he opened it and then he brought it to the breakfast table and quizzed all of us gathered (three generations) during our coffee and cinnamon rolls. It was so fun! The best part was all of us taking turns trying to pronounce the Massachusetts Lake with the absurdly long name! This really is such a great, interactive book. My son has always loved learning new, interesting trivia (the weirder, the better!), and he loves to share his newfound knowledge with the rest of us! Many of our conversations right now start with "hey, Mom, did you know...?" I would absolutely recommend this... especially if you have someone you like to share interesting trivia with! It should be sold at every airport/travel shop as it's the perfect travel companion for the train or plane, and especially for anyone going to America for the first time or even born and raised there! It's full of interesting facts about the U.S of A and covers so much information in bite-size tidbits, from food to cities to presidents, nature, sights, and more. The writers have done a brilliant job of sharing knowledge and information in a fun, light-hearted way. This a great book to escape to or use if you're prepping for a random travel game show! Alex65 - 5.0 out of 5 stars Oh This is a FUN, INTERESTING Book I saw a Tweet by Toula Grayce Mavridou regarding 'Quirk' having followed her for a while on Twitter, due to her photography, if you get the chance, check it out, quite beautiful. But back to 'Quirk' advertised as 99 pence in U.K., to download, so I did. It's BRILLIANT, FUN and VERY INTERESTING. The questions are very well thought out, you think to yourself, oh I know the answer to this, but do you? A couple of times so far I've gone to the answer and said no way, ended up doing a little bit of my own research, and yep totally correct, very 'Quirky' indeed, makes you smile, and that little bit extra knowledge for when you're next at a Pub or Bar Quiz. This would also be great fun at a family and friends gathering, when you want to have a quiz, a laugh, just have a fun time, or even pass the time on a long journey. I might drop a few of the questions into regular conversation! Just to make me look intelligent: -) Honestly a very well researched, interesting, fun and 'Quirk' y Book. I hope Toula sees this, well done it's excellent. 10 out of 10
