It's my favorite novel of all time. It instructed me to see the world as it is, with all its corruption and cruelty, and believe it's worth fighting for anyway, even dying for., For Whom the Bell Tolls is 1) a great Hemingway love story; 2) a tense story of adventure in war; 3) a grave and sombre tragedy of Spanish peasants fighting for their lives.

In 1937 Ernest Hemingway traveled to Spain to cover the civil war there for the North American Newspaper Alliance. I prefer movies to be shipped in boxes to ensure they are not damaged by those gorillas at the post office, but this movie arrived in good condition. Everything was as described. The film was in Italian audio with Korean subtitles as stated in the description. As a bonus, there were also Japanese subtitles. I was really happy to get the Korean version of this film for my collection at such a good price point. I couldn't pass it up
