"This is a terrific book. I loved all of it from the pictorial instruction to the illustrations of completed work. Includes general detailed instructions on how to wet felt so that once you understand the technique, you can create your own felt pictures inspired by Moy's work." -www.YarnsAndFabrics.co.uk, "There are four projects, which take you through the processes used to create a patchwork landscape, birds, flowers and a still-life (teacup and cakes). Synopsis
In this visually stunning book, Moy Mackay reveals how you too can create beautiful pictures using felt. Characterised by her wonderful use of colour, Moys work is breathtaking and includes still-lifes, animals and landscapes inspired by the dramatic scenery of the Scottish Borders where she lives and works. Moy takes you through every step of the process, including the materials and tools you need, the feltmaking process itself (which is easier than youd imagine), and how to put together four fabulous felt paintings of your own. There is guidance on stitching, including both hand- and machine-stitching, as well as how to use colour and introduce texture in the form of different fibres and threads. There are numerous examples of Moys work through the book, and by the end you will not fail to be inspired to create gorgeous felt paintings of your own. "Moy's passionate use of colour and the deep texture created by felting are what draw me to her work. I also like the way that she concentrates on her surroundings for her subject matter her work is very free."-Kaffe Fassett

MISSOURI GOODWILL INDUSTRIES (145329) , has come through again as being a great seller. Ordered ADAM -12 tv series season one from them and they shipped it out fast and well wrapped up for the journey. It arrived earlier than listed and in perfect condition. I got it for more than half the price as it was selling new, and cheeper than the other used ones were. They listed it as GOOD, but it was easily a VERY GOOD , as new minus the wrapper. Great seller and series

This was a great value for a book that arrived in even better condition than described! It was nicely packaged inside an appropriately-sized bubble wrap envelope, and it was shipped promptly. Very happy customer here, and I will shop this seller's store again!
