The measurements given were with the flap open and not sealed. Once the flap is closed you lose an inch and a half meaning I would describe this as little over 12 inches in length instead of 14. And who is going to send out the package without sealing it. Otherwise it is good quality, seams sturdy and the bubbles seem to offer protection unlike some other bubble mailer products I read about. N.E.
