The sound for the musical numbers, however, still remains good & in some places exceptionally clear considering the rest of the film. The film is old, so the picture is dark with some flaws, which is to be expected. But this copy has vertical lines funding thru it in at leat 3 places, which alerts me that this copy probably has a short time before it stops playing.

The sound is very uneven, sometimes the dialogue so poor, it's not understandable. The sound for the musical numbers is usually good, however. The picture is uneven as well, sometimes with vertical lines running through it.
