You can shoot in aperture priority mode, and the XG-1 will assist you in making all of your exposure choices. Even when set to auto, you have great image control. You can select up to two stops of under- or over-exposure, which means you can really paint with light like a true photographer.This camera accepts interchangeable lenses, so you can always choose the best lens for your shot. You can set manual focus on any lens compatible with Minolta MD lens mounts. Minolta lenses are also sometimes referred to as Rokkor. Additional features include battery-powered operation, exposure compensation, an electronically timed shutter, TTL flash auto exposure, and a self-timer.
