It will help deflect stones coming off your front tire (important if you are running knobbies). No instructions are provided, just a drawing of the product. You have to figure out how and where it mounts. The front left side bracket had to be ground down a little to fit on the engine hanger mounting bolt as intended. Looks good and will protect the sump, pipes, and oil filter.

Literally dozens of bolts, washers and nuts in package, less than half of which were needed to install, the item doesn't even have enough holes for all of them. It's cheap, it good metal, and will do its job.
