Product Information
The Velbon CX-540 can be used to mount with a camera, video camera, or scope. It can be used by both professional photographers, videographers, and amateur photographers. The Velbon Tripod three legs with three sections each and brackets that lead back to the main column for extra stability. This aluminum tripod expands to a maximum height of 59.8 inches or collapses down to 21.9 inches with a carry length of 24 inches. The folded length plus a carry weight of 3.4 pounds makes this particular Velbon Tripod extremely portable. The center column of this aluminum tripod includes fiction control to avoid damage to cameras due to a sudden column drop. The Velbon CX-540 has a bubble leveler to make sure that each shot is level. If the shot lined up is not level, the photographer can use the independently adjustable legs to level out the tripod. This Velbon Tripod also has the quick release feature for the three-way pan head.
