The laser assembly I purchased had been worked on which was not disclosed in the listing. The spindle and laser board both had mismatched screw types to the original manufactured drive. It was sold as is for parts but the fact that a repair attempt was made on the device is a vital piece of information that an honest seller would not withhold.
