BUT the sapphire is absolutely gorgeous, it does have a couple VERY minor chips in the face which are only noticeable with inspection. I haven't verified validity yet but the certification supplied is appreciated appears to be with EGL. With all this in mind the price is very reasonable. I adore the sapphire.
