The 3M Steri-Strip Blend Tone Skin Closures (non-reinforced) measure 1/4 inch x 3 inches or 1/2 inch x 4 inches. They are tan and non reinforced, the color blends nicely into the skin tone making it not very visible to the eye. The Steri Strips are sterile and are made of light beige porous material. They are comfortable to wear and cause less scarring than staples and sutures. The backing is non-woven and coated with a pressure sensitive hypoallergenic adhesive. Using the strips provides enhanced comfort, less irritation to patient’s skin and reduced chance of infection than with sutures and staples. Steri-Strip Blend Tone Skin Closures are applied fast and easily and are latex free, they are recommended for use when there is a need for a non-reinforced, gentle closure.
