Sharon Stone reprises her role as novelist Catherine Trammell in Michael Caton-Jones's slick upgrade of the iconic 90s thriller. This time the setting is London, and Trammell is the survivor of a suspect car crash that kills footballer Kevin Franks. Examined by psychiatrist Michael Glass, Trammell escapes the murder charge, to the frustration of cop Roy Washburn.
