Wrath of Cortex Platinum for Sony PlayStation 2 is centred on a new super weapon that Doctor Neo Cortex, the main villain, has invented with the help of his Elementals. Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex Platinum for Sony PlayStation 2 follows Crash and Coco as they travel the world in search of twenty-five special crystals so that they can defeat Doctor Neo Cortex and his super weapon. Most of the gameplay in Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex takes place in a virtual reality world that Coco creates for Crash to go find the Crystals. The player of this Crash video game must teleport into each of these VR Hubs, collecting Crystals, gems, and completing Bonus games. The gamer must survive through thirty different levels in six different worlds in Wrath of Cortex, all while surviving Doctor Cortex’s evil plot.
