NotesDouble vinyl LP reissue. G-Funk Classics, Vol. 1 & 2 is the debut album by Nate Dogg. The album was originally to be released in 1996 but the album was shelved due to legal problems at Death Row Records, and he wasn't able to release it until the summer of 1998. The album made it to #58 on the Billboard 200 and #20 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums. It did produce two top 40 singles - "Never Leave Me Alone", which was released in 1996 and peaked at #33 on the Billboard Hot 100 and "Nobody Does It Better", which became his biggest hit as a solo artist, peaking at #18 on the Hot 100.
