You do a lot of traveling along with your trusty laptop computer loaded up with gaming goodies. Most times the built-in touchpad works fine, but sometimes you'll get a game where that just doesn't cut it. Enter the Gravis Stinger!??Like laptops are to desktops, the Stinger looks like a miniature version of a multi-button gamepad. It measures just under 5 inches across, about 4.5 inches front to back and around an inch at its thickest point. Four feet of cable is attached to the Stinger, ending in a standard 9-pin female serial connector. ??The Stinger has 6 general-purpose buttons on the right side of the pad, 2 buttons labeled 'start' and 'select', respectively, along the center line, and a ball-and-socket type D-pad on the left - pretty standard gamepad fare. On the front edge of the Stinger are the left and right flipper buttons. The Stinger fit well in your hands; all the buttons are ergonomically placed.
