Mario Kart: Double Dash is the GameCube console's answer to the popular Mario Kart game series, and it offers plenty of exciting gameplay modes and challenges. Select classic characters such as Mario, Peach, Luigi, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, and Bowser and race against opposing characters in four different modes. In Grand Prix mode, you play against the computer to defeat seven other teams. Versus and Battle modes let you play against your friends in classic racing and arena games. In Time Trial, you must beat the clock to complete the course as quickly as possible. In each mode, you can toss obstacles such as banana peels and shells to slow down your opponents.
