In this full-length movie version of Rumiko Takahasi's sex-changing martial-arts anime, Ranma and his crew of kooky friends crash their yacht on a desert island, where they must battle a motley mix of outrageous foes. To make matters worse, the women of the party begin vanishing, kidnapped by the island's ruler who wants them for his harem. Ranma must transform into his female identity and go undercover to thwart the sex-addled scheme and rescue his fiancee Akane. Unfortunately, this means he must compete in a bride contest.
