Skies of Arcadia Legends for the Gamecube, part of the Skies of Arcadia series, was released as an enhanced version of Eternal Arcadia. Skies of Arcadia Legends features much faster loading times than Eternal Arcadia, as well as enhanced graphics. Skies of Arcadia Legends also differs from Eternal Arcadia in that Dreamcast provided add-on downloads, some of which provide prequel stories for the player’s enjoyment. In Skies of Arcadia Legends for the Gamecube, the gamer plays as the Blue Rogue pirate Vyse who, along with his childhood best friend Aika and the cryptic girl Fina, embarks upon a dangerous quest to save the world from a rogue nation. Players of Skies of Arcadia must gather an army of fellow air pirates and go on the mission in their air ship to annihilate the enemy. In a battle of good versus evil, Skies of Arcadia Legends provides the best of land and sea.
