While past games in Elder Scrolls series, like Daggerfall, were single player affairs, Elder Scrolls Online is different. Instead of designing the world for a single player, Bethesda created an MMO. In Elder Scrolls Online, you'll adventure with thousands of players at one time. Rather than confine you to one continent, all of Tamriel is available to explore in this MMORPG. You'll frequently need to team up with other players to destroy powerful monsters and complete dungeons. The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited was released for the PlayStation 4 in 2015. The developers of ESO were Zenimax Online Studios and Bethesda. Bethesda themselves were the publisher behind ESO. There is no monthly fee required to play Elder Scrolls Online. Instead of being a sequel tothe last installment before it, Skyrim, Elder Scrolls Online takes place hundreds of years before the events of that game. PvP combat ranges from destroying all enemies on the battlefield to attempting to steal a faction's Elder Scroll. Controlling an Elder Scroll will provide characters with a boost to their attack and defense. Like previous games in this series, The Elder Scrolls Online provides a massive amount of customization. You can alter anything on your character's face, including small details such as the brow and eye color. No two characters in this PlayStation video game will look the same. Like the previous games, you can buy weapons and armor from shops for gold. You can also spend real money in the online store to obtain exclusive weapons and armor you can't get elsewhere. The PS4 Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited Imperial Edition version contains unique in-game items you won't find anywhere else. This version awards players the exclusive ability to game as part of the Imperial race. A white Imperial horse lets you travel across the world in style. The mudcrab vanity pet will let this iconic Skyrim creature follow you in your adventures. Lastly, the Rings of Mara will give you and a friend experience bonuses when you adventure together. The Imperial Edition release also contains a trove of physical goodies that Elder Scrolls fans will love. You'll receive a 12-inch statue of Molag Bal, one of the setting's Daedric Princes. The Tamriel Unlimited release also comes in a special steel case decked out in Imperial colors. A 224-page guide will give you all the information you need to know about the lands and their inhabitants. A physical map of the game world ensures that you'll always know where the nearest dungeon or store is located when you play.
