ReviewsSystematic recycling [of structures and vocabulary] is a term I hadn't considered much previously, but as I peruse the chapters, I am now a 'believer'., The vocabulary is basic, yet pertinent to students' everyday lives. It is well-presented and not 'over the top'! There are just enough words in each chapter for students to learn, yet it does not inundate them with so much vocabulary that it leads to 'overkill', thus hindering their learning as well as their motivation to learn., Systematic recycling [of structures and vocabulary] is a term I hadn't considered much previously, but as I peruse the chapters, I am now a ?believer'., Grammar is not taught as an end in itself, but rather as a function of communication. . . .As a result, students begin using the language immediately., [The cultural focus] is authentic with examples of realia and authentic readings. The theme is woven throughout the entire chapter, which reinforces the concept to the student that language and culture cannot be separated., The vocabulary is basic, yet pertinent to students? everyday lives. It is well-presented and not ?over the top?!
