The Universal Audio LA-610 MKII is a classic tube recording channel strip. It is hand assembled in the factory to ensure the strictest of quality standards. Designed for professional recording studios, it combines a vintage microphone all-tube preamp with authentic Teletronix T4 opto-compression circuitry. Featuring a warm tone and compression that sounds natural, it also has highly anticipated and requested true compressor bypass, more voluminous metering, higher output, and an automatic-switching power supply. In addition to multiple gain and level controls, the microphone features variable impedance switching along with an instrument DI for recording tone color. The LA-610 MKII provides an excellent front-end solution for tracking with modern DAWs.
