  The handle fits the G8 no problem. However the face plates from the old and new handles cannot be interchange with out minor modifications. Cut a couple tabs off the face plate add a little of your favorite adhesive to the faceplate. You can repaint the faceplate that comes with the handle to match your car. Photo is of new handle with the old face plate attached.
